Punk rock band Mutilated Arteries has been seventeen-year-old Becca's world (aka obsession) for the last year. When the band schedules a concert in her hometown, she and her best friend Carli are the first ones in line to buy tickets. The night is everything she expects it to be and more, especially after making friends with the new super-cute bassist, Sketch.

Becca's mom warns her not to fall for a rock star because rock stars are always on the road - or they die in a plane crash, like her mom's favorite band did twenty-something years ago. But after the band's tour bus breaks down and they're stuck hanging out in Roizen Hills for a week, it's hard for Becca not to fall for Sketch and his caricature drawings and toxic green eyes.

Becca knows Sketch is leaving as soon as the bus is fixed, and she can't be his fan-turned-girlfriend anyway because of the lead singer's "No Girlfriends" rule. Plus, there's something strange about the guys that Becca can't quite decipher... like how they won't reveal their real names, their always-changing odd appearances, and the guitarist's obsession with blood and zombies. Still, Becca wants nothing more than for Sketch to mutilate her heart...but it just might not be in a way she expects.

Theatrical Thursday #1 - Catching Fire

 

Welcome to my first

Theatrical Thursday

 

This will be my meme where I take a break from the bookie post you are used to and review a movie instead.

 

Personally I love movies, though not as much as I love to read. As far as genres go I am not partial to a certain one, much like with my book reading. I am pretty much willing to give any movie a chance unless of course it turns into smut, then I am out! Don't get me wrong intimacy is beautiful in some movies but sometimes when it's taken too far it loses it's loving message along the way. But I don't judge, to each his or better yet her own.

 

I have never hosted per say, a meme so if you are interested in participating let me know in the comments below. If I get enough interest I will do all that needs to be done like Linky stuff and Rules and what not, themes and all that other good stuff...

But for now it will be me, talking about movies I guess, LOL.

Okay enough with the awkward blabbering.

Why I'm Waiting...

 

Long story short, I read through The Mortal Instruments Series in record time. I was hitting up B&N and buying each book like it was an addiction! I am pretty sure that I chipped off my nail polish and kept biting my nails till I was done! Admittedly I have dragged my arse as far as reading Clockwork Angel. I have it... sitting on a side table in my living room with my bookmark in it even! I have no idea what's up with that but I have been really busy though.

I cannot wait for City of Heavenly Fire to come out! I will be getting it probably in pre-order. It's just one I MUST have!
