Adrenaline Rush

A madman with a mission is kidnapping groups of thrill-seeking high school seniors across the country, and it’s up to Christy to stop him.

To do so, she must take on a fearless alter ego and infiltrate a group of adrenaline junkies bent on pushing life to the limit. Death-defying stunts are only the beginning: two groups fit the profile, and Christy must discover the real target before it’s too late.

If she chooses the wrong group, more people will disappear. But choosing right puts her as the prime target—with no guarantee that she’ll get out alive.

I jumped at the chance to be a part of this tour just because it was Cindy M. Hogan! I love the book cover and have been so busy writing I did not notice it was a Christy Novel and when I did I was ecstatic! I absolutely love the Watched Trilogy though I haven't read the third book. I have the first two and absolutely loved them but don't have the third. I was super excited that Christy gets more than just a trilogy! Personally I could follow Christy well into her forties if I had my way! LOL!

Now onto my review of Adrenaline Rush.

From start to finish I was on edge and that is one of the things I love about Cindy M. Hogan she knows how to suck you in and keep you glued to the story.

First off I love where the book is headed and I definitely enjoy the action. The premise of adrenaline junkie high school seniors is  way cool. The kidnapping ring is
just crazy and trying to make it all connect was exhausting my brain.
Christy is just as feisty as ever and while I am sure some readers will wish Rick was in the book I like the new characters myself.

Christy is the dark haired Misha and she has a hot guy, Dakota who is falling hard for her. She is feeling mutual but harboring some feelings for someone that is a part of her real life and not her cover life.
She gets in well with her targeted group but takes notice of another group as well. She follows her gut and I love all the action that happens way before things get dicey. I was stunned when things went bad quickly. Shock and awe barely describes my feelings about Sterling's circus. He is a proper villain and one to go down as a best villain I think.
I was definitely thrown for a loop at the craziness that was their captor. It was surreal.

The depth and detail that was involved in this book was amazing. I was pulled into Christy's world. I almost gave up hope like Christy but was shocked by a bombshell or two along the way. I love her struggle internally to keep the faith it's a refreshing element to Cindy's stories that I love.

I don't want to give away the important parts but I loved the suspense and the thriller elements to the story it was so gripping!

Frankie was definitely one of my favorite characters as well as Ian, Dakota and definitely Jeremy, Zoey and almost the whole cast of them!

I highly recommend this book! It is indeed a YA you can call undoubtedly YA and one of my best reads of 2013!

Cindy M. Hogan graduated with a secondary education teaching degree and enjoys spending time with unpredictable teenagers. More than anything she loves the time she has with her own teenage daughters and wishes she could freeze them at this fun age. If she's not reading or writing, you'll find her snuggled up with the love of her life watching a great movie or planning their next party. She loves to bake, garden and be outdoors doing a myriad of activities
