Playing drums in a band and living with her best friends are just some of the highlights of Nova's life. But the best new development? Talking to Quinton on the phone each night. She wishes she could touch him, kiss him, though she knows he needs time to heal. Yet shocking news is on the way-a reminder of life's dark side-and Nova will need Quinton like he once needed her. Is he strong enough to take the final leap out of his broken past . . . and into Nova's heart?
This is the third book in the Nova series. I am reading book 2.5 right now because i was impatient for more Quinton LOL but I am on it!
Wow, just wow. I think that Jessica Sorensen is truly an amazing author.
As far as contemporary romance that is in your face gritty and
downright uncomfortable at times, she takes the cake hands down.
I heart Nova and Quinton like nobody's business. I'm so stunned every time I read another chapter of their story.
This book is no different. I loved every moment and then some. I am definitely a Nova Reed fan and most certainly a Quinton Carter fan! I was so super happy to get the galley of Nova and Quinton that I literally did a happy dance! There's just so much substance their story.
We catch up with Nova as she is at college. Quinton is just out of rehab and Tristan is in an apartment with Nova and Lea. I got squirmy a little bit waiting for Nova and Quinton to collide but was so totally not let down once they did.
Everything about the Nova series is a must read I think. So many times romance novels are all sunshine and roses but I love the more true to actual life stories like this one as well as it's two preceding books.
I hung on every word, laughed, cried and got straight angry and loved every single second.
New Adult fans looking for their next good read should really consider the Nova Series. I swear you will fall in love with Nova and Quinton just like I have. Bravo Jessica Sorensen for a great series and an amazing third book. I will always think about Nova and Quinton when things get tough. Addiction never leaves you but when you decide to be happy and free it's an amazing thing, truly amazing. I speak from experience and am so glad that the subject is shown in such a painfully vivid nature in these books. This was really a great read.
