If you haven't heard of this great series,
here's a glimpse to see what you've been missing!
And oh boy have you been missing something!
Title: 42 Hours (Time for Love #3)
Author: Bethany Lopez
Age Group: NA/Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
When Scott’s friends stage an intervention to make him realize that his fiancĂ©, Victoria, is all wrong for him, he takes time to evaluate his life. He’s earned a big promotion and just bought his dream car, but those things are just superficial. The one time he was truly happy, was with Gaby.
Gaby is in a good place in her life. She loves her job, has the best friends and family a girl could ask for, and is dating a sweet and sexy guy, but she’s never stopped thinking about that night with Scott.
Eager to find happiness again, Scott makes a plan to win Gaby’s heart during a weekend getaway, but she doesn’t want to be his rebound girl. Will 42 hours be enough to convince Gaby that it's finally their time for love?
I just want to say thanks to Bethany Lopez for writing this series. I
realize that sounds corny but I am so in love with this group of
friends. The series has quickly become a favorite and can't wait to get
my hands on book 4, 15 Minutes!! I had wondered where it would go from
Scott and Gaby's story and was happy to see that Brock was going to be
the next in subject matter!
I love pretty much everything about this read. I really think that it is well written and plays out fantastically and unpredictably too. I am glad that I had the opportunity to read it because I was definitely missing a great series.
I loved Scott and Gaby's story and the fact that we get everyone else s continuing stories mixed in! It is so good! Totally not spoiling it though. I just can't wait for the next book. Wait did I already say that? I think I did, (Bethany eehem hint, hint)
There is plenty of swoon here and Scott had more layers than I figured he did and it was fabulous! I was seeing Gaby as the homey friend but her passion outweighs the homeliness for sure. I like that it kept me reading, page turning like a mad woman. The vulnerability of Scott was a nice turn of events and I really liked how he described his feelings and vulnerabilities too. I was utterly relived to be rid of the bitchy Victoria, I hate that i know people in relationships with women like that, completely miserable and it's sad.
This was a very good read and I recommend it highly. Really I cannot say it enough, you DO NOT want to miss this series!!

Title: 8 Weeks (Time for Love #1)
Author: Bethany Lopez
Age Group: NA/Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
This book gutted me before the first chapter was done and my heart wrenched uncomfortably at what was happening to Cal and Shelly. Infidelity. even one that you don't remember, is a horrible prospect to me. I wanted to hat Cal but it was hard because we got a look at his inner workings. I am not big on revolving POV but in this case I think it was necessary to really get the entire story. in love there is always two sides, right?
This cast of characters has the ability to rival the cast of Friends but where Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Ross and Joey kept it PG this story ventures into the tastefully X Rated. Leaving you breathless in some extremely swoon worthy moments while Cal tries desperately to rekindle the love of his life and Shelly tries to forgive him for tearing their world apart. It was heart wrenching, yes, and gripping on top of that. I love a read where I will basically zone out, fully committed to my need to know how it ends!
I was not surprised to love this book or this series because Bethany Lopez has yet to leave me with a bad read. I love her writing and I love that she transports you directly into the story and doesn't deposit you back in your world until the very end. Giddy, blissful and swooned to the max! LOL!
If you love NA Contemporary or you love Romance in general this is definitely a series you DO NOT want to miss. Even if you haven't read NA and have been wanting to give it a try this is an excellent place to start! The cast, storyline, plot and progression will leave you plenty satisfied.
Title: 21 Days (Time for Love #2)
Author: Bethany Lopez
Age Group: NA/Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Is it hot in here or is it just me? Wow! I loved Sasha in 8 Weeks! She was admittedly one of my favorite characters. I liked that we really get to know alot about her and T.J.
I was happy to find that the series is not about two people but an entire group of lifelong friends with a family bond. It just has a get lost in me quality about it. Where 8 Weeks left me swooning and hopeful that love had a chance to outweigh the bad things in life this read left me breathless.
I love the intensity that comes along with the two fiery non committal friends in the group and that everyone gets intertwined in this read. I absolutely love the dynamic between Sasha and T.J. I loved it in 8 Weeks and was super happy to find the hot pair were the MC's for this book. You already know I LOVE the cast of characters so that is no mystery but I like the realistic element to their dynamic and their world in general. You can feel the love even though it's not all roses.
This read though was so steamy but kept the classy edge that Bethany Lopez brings to a romance. Friends with benefits has never been so hot! LOL! It seriously had me fanning myself here people! I love that we dove into what makes someone so comfortable with not ever wanting a commitment or a relationship. And that we got to see a vulnerability to two of the most confident and cocky characters in the series.
There's not much else to say without giving too much away but I love how Bethany Lopez leads us into the next book with out feeling like that is what's happening.
Definitely recommending this series! You just don't want to miss it or put it down once you start reading this fabulously fiery read! I am happy that I have 42 Hours to read because I am excited to read what happens with Scott and Gaby!
