Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she’s determined to make them come true. But between maintaining her college scholarship and working at the local day care to support herself, dating’s the last thing on her mind. Then she moves into a new apartment and meets the taciturn yet irresistible guy in 1B….

Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can’t risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, the last thing he wants is noisy students living in the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia’s and Ty’s paths cross, and soon they can’t stay away from each other.

The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can’t know what you truly need until you stand to lose it.

"A tender, sweet, and sexy story about how life—and falling in love—can never be planned."
—Jennifer L. Armentrout, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Wait for You

OMG! This was really very good! I have admittedly never read anything by Ann Aguirre and I absolutely love her writing. I like the plot because it is nothing like the new adult books I have read so far this year and if you follow this blog you know it has been alot!

The characters in this book are completely relatable and side characters were totally relevant to the story. There's depth in this read too. I like that it addresses being a single parent from a male's perspective that has a unique brilliance to it. I was not happy with Ty's suggested "relationship" with Nadia, but I understood it. I loved the side drama with Lauren and Max too. Is it okay that I came away from this read with two book boyfriends? LOL! I am so #TeamTy and #TeamMax!!

As far as new adult books go this is a really good one that you don't want to miss out on. There are graphic scenes but they are tasteful and still steamy as hell. I enjoyed the witty manner in which the writer expresses things. I really have no complaints and read it in one day not moving my reading spot! Just that good.

It's a romantic read with loads of drama and interesting happenings to go with it. I loved absolutely every second of it!

Definitely recommend this book a thousand times over!
