BLOG TOUR - REVIEW & GIVEAWAY - Sun Poisoned by Nikki Rae

Sophie’s life has changed. She’s moved to New York, she’s playing music for new people, and she’s making new friends. Then there’s Myles, and the fact that he is now her boyfriend—and everyone knows it.

She’s not exactly normal, living in a half-human, half-vampire world, but she’s finally, truly happy. However, some parts of Sophie and Myles’ old lives still hide in the dark, waiting for the right opportunity to strike.

Sophie’s having nightmares again, but they aren't about her; Myles is hiding something as well, something Sophie isn’t sure she wants to know.

And one lie will change everything.

No matter how hard she tries to cover up the marks her monsters have left behind, they never truly go away, and Myles’ monsters are no different.

Once again, Sophie’s caught between life and death, but this time, only she can save herself.

I can't seem to get enough of this series!

I have fallen in love and this is by far one of my absolute favorites that I must add to my top tens no doubt! From start to finish I had a hard time putting it down. I was intrigued by the entire situation and with Myles and Sophie too. LOL!
What can I say I love the characters and the new direction of the story and I refuse to spoil any part of the book in this review.  I have a true love for Vampire novels and these books are really a good read!

I LOVE the characters and I love the plot and the build of the story too. My mind went into full block out world and I was immersed in Sophie's ever changing world.

I like that it deals with very real and gritty subject matter and mixes it in with love and hate and the paranormal and or fantasy factor.

I am indeed now a Nikki Rae fan!!!

I love Sophie and Myles, *swoon* I am enamored and sucked it waiting for the next installment with the utmost anticipation. I recommend this series a thousand times over.

Read it! You won't regret it!

5 of 5 Stars

 Book 1

18 year old Sophie Jean is pretty good at acting normal. Sure, she’s not exactly happy, but happiness is nothing compared to being like everyone else. She can pretend she’s not allergic to the sun. She can hide what her ex-boyfriend did to her. She can cover up the scars she’s made for herself. Ignore anything. Forget anything. Then Myles enters her life, and he has more than a few secrets of his own. When accident after accident keeps happening to Sophie, she can’t help noticing that he’s everywhere. That he knows too much. That she’s remembering too much.

It’s one thing covering up her own dark past, but does she really need to worry about people finding out just how much Myles likes her? Or that despite how much she doesn’t want to repeat past mistakes, she kind of likes him back? Not to mention the fact that she now has to conceal that Myles drinks blood-that he says he’s about four hundred years old.

She almost forgot about that part.

But Sophie has no plans to ruin the normal life she has created for herself. She can deal with this little glitch, no problem. Even if word has gotten around to the wrong vampire about Sophie and Myles, even if she’s putting the few people she loves at risk. Suddenly, those who were monsters before are just people, and the monsters? They’re real. Now being a normal human being is the least of her problems. Now she has to stay alive.

Immediately from the combo of the cover and the blurb I'm excited! This is my sort of book I can tell right away. At first I am just mesmerized by Sophie's disorder. I am that girl who watches TLC only when there are medical shows on so it was quite fascinating.
I love Sophie and her brother Jade and do not get me started on Myles *swoon* yup. Her best friends are awesome characters too! Even her evil mother is a good character along with her sister and stepdad. I like her crazy family dynamic it's interesting and I like how her best friend's dynamic with the family.
Her past is full of suppressed memories of pain that creep up unwelcomed and it hurts my heart. I like that this story has meaning that's applicable to real life situations as well as Paranormal Fantasy. I like the pace and the plot of the story.
I was never bored and never felt confused it was great!
I had some moments when I laughed my butt off like when Sophie sat Myles in the back lol!
And oh my gawd I love love love where this story goes! I read non stop and could not put it down! I so recommend this book and there is no way that I am spoiling this!
Five fab stars or hearts rather on this book most definitely now onto Sun Poisoned!
