REVIEW - #RPRC2014 - The Wanderers by Jessica Miller

What do you do when you learn your family is the one who's holding all the secrets. Secrets that could get you killed...

Ella is looking forward to starting college in the fall with her best friend Josie. She’s looking for a place where she can get away from her overbearing parents and two older annoying brothers. Unfortunately Ella realizes that sometimes the past comes back to haunt you.

Ella soon learns that the man who terrorizes her dreams is in fact real and coming after her.

When one of her classmates is murdered, Ella slowly recognizes this is not some strange coincidence. Ella fears that the boy she’s falling in love with is the one who stalks her dreams and no longer knows who she can trust.

When she finally learns the truth of her families deepest secret, Ella has to face her demons by taking out one of the people she thought she could trust…before they kill her.

Let's put aside the fact that this book is riddled with errors both grammatical and spelling wise and review it on content and story alone...

Ella's story is a tragedy filled one, a haunting memory of the most painful day of her life replays in her mind as a nightmare that rocks her sanity. It was so hard for her to get past losing her boyfriend in that fateful crash. The strange eyes that accompany her nightmares have Ella questioning if she may have imagined them altogether.

She goes to college excited to start new and have a life apart from her tainted past, she and her best friend Josie easily join a sorority and meet some frat boys and make an easy first day friend, Jack, a non frat boy.
He has the hots for Ella, obviously but she is pulled in by the resident playboy, Tristan while Josie boy hops til he finds a good fit in Billy who happens to be a frat brother to Tristan.

Ella is terrified to give her heart, certain that Tristan will shred it to pieces. She was kinda right.
She reluctantly gives her heart and things are going okay when everything gets turned upside down.
I was okay with how it played out and the storyline was intriguing every step of the way but when I got to the end...

I have never been more upset at the outcome of a book. I am so angry by what happens at the end that I don't even want to read the next book, Reborn. But I am reviewing it for my Lovers of Paranormal Group on Goodreads so I have to but I am doing so in protest!

I got really sucked into this read because I really liked the storyline and I fell quickly for the characters, most of all Ella, Josie, Tristan & Billy.
The premise was great though it did need a better editing. Jessica Miller has a great imagination although I am not exactly happy with her right now, (because of the ending).
LOL

I really truly loved this book, characters and plot just bummed about the ultimate outcome!

I live in a fantasy world and have an over active imagination. But the best part about that is I never stop creating new characters and new stories to share. I love writing and expressing myself in a way that everyone else can enjoy as well. I work in the salon most days, but when i'm not doing hair, I'm writing or reading.
