Love Kinsey
by
 Brandy Jeffus Corona

All her life, Kinsey Masters has thought of herself as ordinary, boring almost. She had a normal upbringing, a stable career and a good love life, finally meeting “the One,” Colby.

But life has a funny way of turning the tables on you.
Faced with a devastating diagnosis, Kinsey sets out to write her last story – her own.

Her journey reunites her with each man she’s fallen in love with and with their words, along with other friends and family, she pieces together the story of herself. With each meeting, Kinsey begins to realize that each of her past loves has happened for a reason. And she’s left footprints on their lives just like they did for her.

Every life is special, especially your own.

**This book is New Adult**

"I, Kinsey Masters, had just been sentenced to death."

This begins our journey into 29 year old Kinsey's world where death is knocking at her door. A diagnosis that brings the reaper to watch and wait.
Kinsey is crushed and her fiancé Colby is there with her holding her tight. She is shocked and he is strong but angry.
It's just not fair when someone so young is sentenced to a short lifespan.

Kinsey is all in all a great person, madly in love with and engaged to her last soulmate. They have said it will only be weeks till it's over. She'll never see her wedding or thirty.
Her family and friends are grief stricken but pulling themselves together just for her.
She has a crazy dream the night of the diagnosis and she and Colby start on a journey to write the story of Kinsey and the men she has loved and who loved her.
It's a strange concept but endearing nonetheless.
Each visit for an interview with her exes is interesting and their goodbyes are tear extracting events.
When she goes to see Landon I cried more than once.
I like the way her family and friends rallied around her and how she has them all there when it was time to go.
Kinsey's wedding and funeral were so touching. I have never sobbed like that while reading. (My husband thinks I'm crazy now. Thanks Brandy!)

This is a gut wrenching read and I recommend it highly just don't forget to grab the tissues.
It isn't a long book but it isn't a short story.
It's an epic chronicling of love and life when death is close.

Kinsey's story is a reminder to live life to it's fullest and love big. You're in charge of the legacy you leave behind.

That's no joke! You better have those tissues handy for this one!
It reaches in and rips your heart out, warms your heart.
Then does it all over again!

"Every month of our marriage will be a Godsend every hour and day a blessing. You are answering a long-time prayer of mine and for that,
I will be forever grateful."

"Kinsey, when you loved us, you gave a part of your heart, and vice versa. And they may not have fit neatly or perfectly but they fit nonetheless."
"Do me a favor since you're blessed with one more day than I have been allowed, live your life and love it. Never stop doing those two things."

"And in that span of five or six years, my brother became my favorite person in the world. He became my best friend. "

 Enter the

I was born and raised in East Texas, grew up with twin sisters and was always a writer.

As a kid, I would stay up late to finish 'one more chapter' or finish writing 'one last scene'. I dabbled in journalism in high school and I have won countless essay and story contests as a young adult.

I have now settled in North Texas and have finally accomplished my dream of being a published writer! I have two really smart, beautiful and crazy kids and a husband who doesn't like read.

I won't confine myself to any one genre. I like to write romance, inspirational, YA, NA etc.
